Waves Retro Repairs was founded in 2023 by myself after I semi retired to Devon from the Midlands and quickly realised that I couldn't just go to the beach every day! My wife also reminded me that my skillset was being wasted as well. So I rented a small unit and started creating one off timepieces using New Old Stock (NOS) Nixie tubes. My business is primarily aimed at creating one of a kind Nixie tube clocks using cast off stuff that nobody wants anymore and would probably end up in landfill. If I can make use of it and turn it into something that can be displayed I will. I also get asked to look at electrical problems on all sorts of different items, being a qualified electrical/electronic engineer is a curse sometimes!!
